[00:00:00] If you train, compete, or teach dog agility, you're in the right place. Hey there, I'm Megan Foster, creator of Fostering Excellence and Agility. Join me as I share key insights on all things related to dog agility and help find your team's path to excellence and unlock your best year yet. Let's get started.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Hey there. Welcome back to the podcast today. I am so excited because I am joined with my friend and student Rose Saboski, and I cannot wait to dive into our conversation today. But first Rose, please introduce yourself. Tell us why you're here, what you wanna talk about today.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: It's a loaded [00:01:00] question, isn't it?
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Always.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: so um, I am very much, uh, a novice handler and, um, I want to talk about some big goals that I have and some exciting things that are going on, um, in my life and, and some projects I have going on, and, uh, some stuff that we're doing together. So, super pumped to share it with everybody.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Right, and so first tell, like we have to mention that you host. Your own podcast before the queue.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: do, I do. I, so I started that podcast about a year ago. I'm nervous, uh, shaking knees, all that sort of thing. Um, I am far and away, uh, the biggest, nobody in agility to have a podcast. So go check it out. It's super good. It's lots of fun, and I hope you take lots from it. Um, and yeah, I just, I wanted to put something out there for people who are kind of where I'm at, um, or like. Just [00:02:00] coming up through, through, um, through what we're doing because I think, um, there's a ton of people like you who are super successful and like rolling through. Um, but I, I don't know a lot and I think that curiosity brings a lot of good questions, um, and helps to pull a lot of info out and, and brings a lot of clarity, which is, is something I, I'm super excited about and I, I value a lot in, in what I'm doing.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: I love that you started a podcast. I have been cheering you on since day one.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Absolutely.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: I agree because your perspective is so valuable because you are a novice handler and you're absolutely right. There's so many things that I take for granted because I've been doing them for a really long time with multiple dogs and takes students like you that are willing to like dive into the questions and ask the tough questions and be curious [00:03:00] and, um.
Not feel ashamed or dumb when you ask a question, you just ask it, and you are now sharing those answers with the entire agility community. That's freaking cool.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: It is. It is. It was super scary too. 'cause I think like people can be, um. I don't wanna say judgy, but like, you know, everybody brings their own perspective and I'm, I'm a bit nervous about sharing some stuff 'cause it's like, who am I to share anything? But people seem to like
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: You are freaking rose Polsky. That's who you are.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: love
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: are sharing things and uh, making an impact. Uh, so before you talk about your big goal, why don't you talk about your lovely little teammate?
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: So
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: little.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I have, I have two wonderful teammates
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: You do.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: uh, my Husker pug, uh, Norbert. He's a northern mix and he's the one who got me started in [00:04:00] agility. He started all this passion, and if not for him, I definitely wouldn't have, uh, the passion for dog training that I do. He taught me a ton about. How to set up a session, all these sorts of things.
Like I cannot to mention that dog in anything that I ever do for the rest of my agility career. Um, and then there's, miss Leosa Levy is a coolie. Um, she is, has an attitude. She loves to be correct. So do I, to be clear, uh, she's a whole hell of a lot of fun. Um, she, yeah, she's just a good time and uh, keeps me on my toes and challenges me to. Step up my game every single time we step to the line. And I am lucky to have a dog who is as fun and inspiring as she is, and not a lot of people get that, so I'm damn lucky.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yeah. Uh, we love her. That is all you have to know about Little Levy is we love her. [00:05:00] Uh, and speaking of like. Pushing you to do the right thing and learn things. Um, levy has requested to have some big goals in 26.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I, um. Yeah, so I, I come from a bit of a background with horses and, and I often said like, horses don't have goals. They, they just enjoy every day. Every day is a new day. And I would, I would say that dogs don't have goals either, but Levy changed all of that for me. Um, levy, uh, I was just happy with doing local shows and, um. Yeah, she just, she's just so, she's an amazing dog and um, she's one of those ones you don't wanna waste. So, um, I've been, this year I wanna go to the Canadian Open and, well, levy wants to go to the Canadian Open, and so I am holding on and, and driving her there. And, uh, so I'm super, super excited. It's a big deal to me.
It's like a big competition. Um. [00:06:00] And yeah, I, I am going to a few different, um, like I'm doing a cup and a classic, um, UKI, so that, that style of agility really fits her. She's very long strided, she's very fast. Um, and so she likes that type of thing also because I do, uh, so I totally appreciate that. Uh, you know, there's lots of different things and some dogs can do.
Many different styles and it, it's really helpful for them. But I think for her, um, and like my confidence as a handler, I think the, the one kind of venue is, is kind of what, what we're looking at. And so I am super, um, super looking forward to, to challenging myself and, uh, going on a large, large journey.
And taking, taking all of you with me?
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yeah. Uh, so from Canadian Open, it is the end of August. So we've got like this, um, uh. Half a year or so, um, you know, you know, we have to accommodate for your [00:07:00] winter, so, but we've got a nice chunk of time
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Mm-hmm.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: kind of prepare you for this event. Uh, and I'm super excited about that. You mentioned like different types of events and um, I'm sure we'll be talking a lot about that in coaching together, of how you're going to approach each of those.
Events and that mean that kind of segues us into your second project as if opening a podcast wasn't very and brave and courageous enough, you.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: So one thing I wanna say is like, I clearly, uh, if, if you've listened to my podcast, I don't do agility full-time. Um, this is not a way that I make money, um, and I don't ever intend it to be. Um, so I, um. I work full-time in healthcare. Um, and I think a lot of different passions, [00:08:00] uh, within this project will, will kind of come from, from my passion there.
But, um, I am starting a vlog series, um, on YouTube, and I'm so excited about it, so nervous about it. Oh my God. But like sometimes those things that make you feel like inside, you know. Big feeling where it's like this nervous, excited bubble are, are totally worth doing. And that's definitely the way I felt about the podcast.
You can definitely hear that in my first episode. But, uh, I've, I've gotten a little bit better since then. Um, so it's, it's probably gonna be the same thing for, for this, uh, this adventure that I'm, I'm going on for sure. So I'm very much looking forward to, um, offering some content again for, for beginners. Like myself for very novice handlers, um, and preparing for a big event because I, I don't know how to do that. So I'm, I'm getting ready to learn and, and do all the things. So I'm excited to a really honest journey and, and I think that's something that you know about me. I am [00:09:00] more honest with my faults than I am with my strengths.
Um, and, uh, yeah, there's tons of opportunities for learning here for myself. And I thought, well. I am sure other people would be interested in learning, so I, I'm hoping to bring that content to people.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: It is incredibly generous of you to kinda let people peek behind the curtain, um, and get, you know, get access to this kind of transformation. Uh, because there, there's so much that goes into. Between now and an event like the Canadian Open and the transformation that you're ultimately kind of looking for, right?
Because you don't want, you don't just wanna go, right? Like
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: 'cause.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: look like, I definitely, my goal going into it and, and I don't think that we're, we jump in the, in the, in the 2020 class and, um, I, it's a very competitive class. Lots of really fast dog. That's a truly amazing handlers. [00:10:00] And, um, I wanna look like I belong there. I, I don't, I don't, I would love to not have a full page of ease, um, but, or eliminations, I guess if, if you don't know what ease mean, but, um. It realistically could be a possibility. And I, I think going in, knowing like what I want my outcome to be, like, what does success look like for me? And, and I'm happy to explain that. I feel like here, um, you
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yes, please tell us.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: it's like the whole journey. It's showing up, it's trying, it's learning, it's having a good time with my dog, but also like being prepared for the event.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yes.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: because I think like going in with training with a goal and, you know, studying the courses coming through and, and looking at those sorts of things and, and going in and being like, yeah, we might not be the most competitive team, but we're gonna show up and we're gonna be really, um, we're gonna look like we belong.
So that is my, my goal. And I, you [00:11:00] know, if you know anything about Smart goals, it's not terribly measurable, but I, I think you'll be able to tell when you watch videos. So.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: I, I kind, I dunno. I think it is sort of measurable though, because. I've, I want to kind of unpack this like feeling of belonging, and I think it really does live in how prepared you are, right? And how much evidence you bring to the event that you can do this sequence and this sequence, and that you have a plan for this sequence.
And you can measure that. You can measure how many solutions you have for. This type of sequence and, um, you know, attacking that mindset of, yes, we all want like, some sort of paper result. And, um, I, I told you recently that paper results hardly or never tell the whole story,
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Yeah.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: because there, there is progress and you know, some of my best runs also have [00:12:00] an e in the score column.
And. I don't remember those parts because I can, you can look back and you see that, Nope, I was prepared, but I'm a human and they're not a machine, so we still got an e.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Yeah. I definitely am not a computer programmer. I didn't get a robot and I think that's important to remember too. She is like a her own being and uh, sometimes that stuff I. Can come out as well. Right. So, um, but yeah, I totally appreciate what you're saying
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: For sure.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Yeah. Yeah.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yeah, I am, I am, I'm excited to see the preparation and the mindset shift and to, to make sure that you, you have that feeling of belonging, not just with your technical skills, but also with your mindset skills. Uh, because big events can be so, uh, hard on our mental game and they can totally exhaust us.[00:13:00]
Uh, so. All of that is gonna be a part of the process.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: We talked about it before for sure. I mean, this also happens to me in regular, normal competition trials, um, where I just think, ah, you know, we we're still not getting it. And then I review the video and I'm like, oh. as bad as it felt in the moment. So that is something that I am absolutely working on and like
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: I.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: towards seeing good things, um, pretty consistently.
So.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Our brains love to lie to us. It is almost never as bad as it felt in the moment. And so video is so valuable. So again, um, sharing this video process, this vlog with people is. Pretty fabulous and maybe also kind of inspiring to other people to film more, even if it is just for themselves. Just [00:14:00] having another set of eyes on your training that isn't so critical, you know that other, the, the set of eyes that is, uh, you later when you are separated from the training session.
Because we can be a little bit too self-critical and self judgy in the moment. Um.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I know, I know like this isn't a unique feeling, so I'd love to share it. I, I, going into online coaching, I probably didn't post anything for the first, like, oh, I'd say like three, four or five months even, um, because I was like, so anxious about how I looked on video.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Mm-hmm.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: It's just like a part of who I am to be critical of myself. And, and then I had my first trial and I know you remember those videos 'cause Yeah, our coaching call, I was like, in tears, I can remember it. And um, and you're just like, well, this is just where you're starting, like it's okay. Um, and then I started posting video and like, huge change in our training within like. I [00:15:00] would say even just a month. So, um, if you're part of an online program and you're having trouble posting video, just post one,
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Just post one.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: one. Um, and honestly, and, and now I'm like, oh, I could post video for everybody on the internet to see and judge me, so it's going great.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Right. I mean, it, it's gotten you this far. Why would you stop now? Okay. So why, like, why do people wanna watch this? V Why do you want people to watch this? What are you hoping that they get out of it? Um.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I think, I think it's a really good question. Um, partly like I'm, I am videoing for myself. Um, and these are kind of fun ways to look back. 'cause definitely looking at my first trial runs ever with her. I like had this vision of what it was gonna be like, and I'm here to tell all of you it was, it did not happen like that. Um, and um, so I think it's like really fun to be able to look back, but I also [00:16:00] think that I'm like a really normal person. Um, I am not, I. Uh, I am, I'm not doing international style agility. I am working full-time at another job. I have two dogs. I have a house that I take care of. I have a lot going on and, um, I. I think that efficient training, effective training, um, and like fitness work and, and human fitness and all of that is going to be included here. So I'm excited to show the whole picture, um, because I think that get snippets of a lot of different things on the internet and it's also edited and curated and yeah.
I'm not gonna show you my worst moments 'cause some of those are just for me to mull over, but. I do hope to show yeah, there's some, some, some struggles in figuring it out and um, yeah. Um, so I'm, I'm looking forward to that. So that's why I think that people should watch. 'cause I don't think that, like me preparing [00:17:00] for an event as like a beginner and going to. And like I keep saying, I'm not competitive, but like, I'm obviously wanting to go to a big event, so I'm a
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Mm-hmm.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Um, but to prepare for that and, and show up in a serious way, I don't think that looks a ton different than if, if you and Sprint are going like as a, a partnership. And I, I, if I'm stepping outta line there, please let, let me know.
But.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: You are not stepping out of line. I completely agree with you. Uh, the exact same process that I. Plan to coach you and Levy through is the exact same process that I will use, um, for like the three big events that I plan on attending next year as well. Right. Um, because spoiler alert, one big event is just a gateway to.
So just saying, um, you know, when we look back on this as a memory and you're [00:18:00] only attending one, you'll be like, oh, that's so cute. Now I'm going to two or three. Um, me and my beginner. Uh, so, but the process is exactly the same. How, how we. You know, prepare how we look critically at the skills we do and don't have, um, how we will use different trials throughout the event to, you know, make sure that our criteria is solid and take risks and know where we're at, so that at the big event we have really solid skills and also basically a cheat sheet of how to get.
Get around a course. Um, so exact same, exact same process. So I, I think what I find the most exciting about it is, like what we talked about in the beginning, where there will be different bumps in the [00:19:00] road that you, that your learning process, because it's not something you've ever. Had to troubleshoot before.
So those will be the differences between like following your preparation versus following mine. I run into something, I go, oh my God, I've done this a hundred times. You might run into a problem and you're like, this is my first time dealing with this specific problem and like watching that growth for you as a trainer and as a handler, like.
It will be. I know it'll be very cool for me. Obviously I'm very much invested, but I think lots of people will find that cool and interesting and exciting and, um, I hope everyone subscribes and is like waiting for their next episode of the this vlog because I, I think it, it's so unique and I, I think dog training is so interesting.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: And I, I, [00:20:00] I want people who are like nervous about shooting for a big event, whatever organization that you are looking at. I mean, I am going to the Canadian Open. It just fits our team. Um, but if like. A KC or a KC nationals or, you know, I, I'm not quite sure, but like a, a c Nationals, if that's your big event, I don't think that preparing for that event looks that much different than preparing for this event. Um, so, you know, if, if that makes you nervous and not holds you back from going subscribe, that's your back because like, don't worry, I'm gonna figure it out. I'm a pretty determined individual and, um. think that's like a, a big benefit to, to this project is, and, and it's gonna live on the internet, so I
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: It's there forever.
It'll be there forever.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Yes,
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: so I'm really interested in how you're like feeling [00:21:00] about all of this right now. Um, you've released one episode.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: yes. Episode.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: This recording, so you know.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: one is out. Um, I had, um, the same kind of feelings when I released my first podcast episode. I was like, huh, just put it out there. And, uh, so I'm very happy that it's out, but at the same time, I am a little anxious. Um, I could not watch it one more time to edit it. I could not possibly rerecord it. Um.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Done is better than perfect, my friend.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: And, but it's, it's growth, right? And, and it's, it's exciting and, but it's also like super nerve wracking because the most athletic individual. I'm not a beautiful smooth handler yet. Um, yet, um, Stephanie taught me that one yet. Um, it's, it's, there's just so much room for [00:22:00] growth and I'm so excited about that for sure.
So.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: So like what else are like, is it just about growth for you? What else excites you? What's like the most exciting part of this for you?
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I, think what's also exciting, um, and it again, maybe a bit of a different perspective, and if I'm, I'm talking outta turn, you'll, you'll help me rein it in. But I come from a bit of a different dog training background than I think is. What's out there? Like I was totally in horses, and that's a lot of people's story to, to kind of, it's like a gateway drug into agility. but I start with, um, aversive tools as like my basis of understanding of behavior. Um, like, and I think that, um, some of the ways that I've learned to deal with the errors and, and train different behaviors, I just think it's interesting. Um. That, you know, I, I think that the way that our trainees is going is so exciting, um, and [00:23:00] allows us to challenge ourselves every day and those sorts of things.
So that is, that is one thing that I'm really pumped about.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: I love it, and besides obviously terrifying.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Yeah.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: What, like how are you feeling about this whole process
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Oh,
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: far?
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: so
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yeah.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Um, I am excited to, I mean, the journey to where the Canadian Open is from where I am is, is over 20 hours. I'm excited to show everybody all the rocks and trees of Canada.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Love it.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I am, yeah, like so many pieces of that are exciting and like a lot of things that I think are like these. Gold moments in my learning. I, I'm really excited to post those and talk about them and, um. mean, I, I get to post on, on your forms about them all the time. So, so I'm excited to, to put that into a [00:24:00] video, um, and post about it. And, and definitely I've been able to dive into a lot of these concepts. Um, on my, on my podcast, I recently did one with.
Um, uh, Laura Wabe about pre, pre placed rewards, which is like, as you know, a super huge passion of mine, which feels ridiculous to say. Um, but yeah. Yeah, no, I, I'm in the right place to talk about it. But,
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: You are.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: you know, and I, I hope to kind of do an episode on that and, and, uh, just, just chat about how much proofing has gone in and, and like the different things I've done with them and, and what I think they actually teach my dog. Um, again, like a lot of that is gonna be away from agility equipment because. Um, there is a ton of snow outside where I am and it is like minus 30 and yeah, going for a walk is sometimes too cold. So, so
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Right.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: stuff is gonna be really interesting and, and realistically, like I don't have access to an indoor facility for quite a while. Um, like even if I did, especially if it wasn't heated, I wouldn't be able to train my dog there. [00:25:00] Uh, so
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Which is so real for so many people. Um, I don't have access to an indoor training facility, and I feel like it has been raining since the beginning of October. Um, so yeah, I get it. There's a lot of pre placed reward training happening in my life. Um, so, uh, I think you wanted to share a little bit about.
And the vlog.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Oh, yes, yes. I, I definitely, I asked you, um, so this is like, one of the things that I'm probably like most excited about, um, is I book coaching calls and with you obviously maybe not obviously with, so I book, uh, private coaching calls with Megan and um, I'm excited because I asked if I could share those. Uh, so the first one will be released today. [00:26:00] Uh, I'm so pumped about it. It is, um, yeah, you get to see all of my mistakes and how we're fixing them and it's super neat. I was just at a trial this weekend and, you know, comparing. What you had said in the coaching call to the videos, I can, I can literally see the improvement there.
So I think like, online coaching can be really scary. I have a great trainer here that I can train with and, um, she's, she's very talented. Bowie just, we just needed different, um, and so it was. Very exciting to do some coaching calls with you, and I was like, more people need to, to see this kind of stuff.
And my mistakes are so novice and so normal, and I'm excited for people to be like, oh, do that too.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yeah.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: fix that? So I, I hope that's the reaction I get instead of like, oh my God, that poor dog, but at [00:27:00] least I'm working on it.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Well, good. You have set the criteria for the listeners. That they watch with an opened and curious mind. And I, I am pretty confident that listeners here will meet that goal for you. Uh, I, I'm so happy you asked to make the coaching calls a part of the vlog experience because, you know, it is a part of the process getting someone's eyes on your training and getting that feedback and.
What I love so much about them is that you are, you're at home, you're in, you're at your computer, you are relaxed, you're fresh. You're not having to tend to the dog. You can actually take in what I'm telling you.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Mm-hmm.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: I can stop the video, I can draw on it, I can slow it down for you. I can let you see it in real time, 10 times until you see what I need you to see.[00:28:00]
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Absolutely.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Right, which, you know, I, I love teaching in person. I did it for a long time, but I can't do that in person.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Mm-hmm.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: so.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: and I think being able to, um, rewatch the feedback has been, I mean, a, 'cause I had to edit it, that I watched it again. Um. But just to, like, there's one point where you kind of point out that I took not one, not two, but five steps, too many. Uh, but you know, it was really helpful to be like, I see that, you know, I
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yeah.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: can really see it.
And like I said, I don't think my problems are necessarily all that unique or, um, you know, difficult to understand.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Right.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: so I, I do think that like. Probably a lot of people, even people who aren't necessarily beginners, can probably take something from that co auditing, that coaching call. Um, so yeah, I'm really excited to put it out there 'cause I, I just think it's, it's awesome and even [00:29:00] if people don't, um, learn anything brand new, it'll probably just reinforce something for them.
So, yeah, I hope people check it out.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Absolutely. I, I'm so excited about it. Um, and we also want to encourage people to kind of engage with this content in different ways, and I know you have been so great at engaging the community inside my coaching membership and. I, I love that you are like, on top of everything else you're taking on, you also, like you, you are becoming kind of an accountability partner for other members.
So talk to me about how you want people to engage with this content, um,
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: so
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: or elsewhere.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: if you are not, like, if you're not in the, there's like a free fx.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yeah. The fans of FX Agility.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: So if you're not a part of that, definitely sign up for it. I'll be posting all my episodes there [00:30:00] as well, like links to them. Um, and one thing I would love, I'm totally gonna post there and like ask people what their big scary goals are for the next year because I, I think that in. Gracing that like sometimes things feel almost too big, um, or just like undoable is like an okay thing to say and then you say it and nobody reacts, like, you can't do that. And you're like, well, maybe I can, maybe I can do that. Um, so I'd love to hear about people's goals. And then within the, um, membership I am posting, I'm trying to be consistent with it.
I was at a trial this week, so I didn't do it last week, but I'm trying to post some, some courses that I'm looking at and, um, thinking about how I would actually run them because again. I don't have access to coursework, um, right now, but Levy absolutely needs me to get better at coursework. So there's only so many ways I can do that.
So like visualizing, well, what does this look like? What, what kind of, um, handling choices would I make? What parts do I think would be difficult? What am I putting on my training plan from those courses that are skills [00:31:00] that maybe we. Really need to brush up on or, um, look at training, um, like weave entries, weave exits, um, dog walk exits, tunnel exits, uh, different, um, different kind of like, um, off course obstacle, kind of like traps if, if I can say that. Um, and think of like, oh, I would never even think of that. But it's difficult if I only look at the courses that I see in a trial.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Mm-hmm.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I think you, like, for me, it's been really helpful to look at those courses and think, okay, well what am I, what am I doing next kind of thing. So,
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Yeah, absolutely. I. I, I'm just, I'm, I'm in awe of you truly. Um, I think all of this is amazing and such an incredible opportunity for everyone to be a part of it, and I hope that [00:32:00] listeners take you up on it and it sounds like they'll be able to like maybe ask you questions about the process. Um,
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Absolutely. For
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: and that like, again, so generous with all that you plan on sharing with our agility community.
Um, is there anything else you would like listeners to know about this project
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I think what I wanna share with listeners is, um, yeah, go check it out. I'm super pumped about it. I mean, definitely don't, um. You know, don't take this personally, but I absolutely have coaching. I have people I pay for that. So I'm really trying to, uh, put myself out there. And part of the reason why it's scary is you just don't know how people will react.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Um.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I, I'm just really trying to put that boundary in early. I'm really excited to share, but at the same time, um, yeah, I, I am not, uh, perfect handler. Surprise, uh, and, um, you know, I have my podcast. If you haven't checked that out, I really encourage you to do so. There's [00:33:00] some really good stuff in there. Um. I have a lot of great, amazing, unbelievable guests that, that are, are so generous with their time and, and come and chat with me. And I am so thankful for everybody who has done so. Um, I do have some merch to help me pay for some of this stuff, uh, because the editing software for my podcast does cost money.
So if you're looking to support the pod, um, and rep the, the, if you need a new t-shirt, there are some pretty fun ones. So.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: I'm first in line,
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: I love it.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: can get in line behind me. Uh, yes, I, the show notes will be. Full of links to all of these relevant things, and
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: There's one more thing I wanted to
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Rose has one more thing to.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: There is, uh, uh, a little promo at the end of the, the, the coaching call. Um, so I hope you guys check that out. They are three of my most favorite things and there's a [00:34:00] little extra so, so quartet of some amazing, amazing content of Megan's. Um, so it's a awesome promo.
So.
megan---she-her-_1_12-16-2025_160021: Thank you for sharing, rose. I'm so excited for you and this project and, um, I, I can't wait to virtually attend the Canadian Open with you. Uh, I'm sad that I can't go this year to be cheering you on in person, but I am happy to have this next best thing. And, um, I think I speak for everyone. It just like, again, how generous you are.
To let us let us in on this very precious time with you and Levy, so thank you again.
squadcaster-3j6i_1_12-16-2025_190021: Thank you.
