Megan is exceptionally clear in her explanations and in how she breaks things down.
She is very compassionate to both handler and dog, you will be supported on your journey, and things won't be nit-picked or pulled to pieces. She is very skilled in giving feedback to people. Try a self-study programme first if you're not sure. I deliberated for several months before I actually joined, but I think it's been an excellent investment that has definitely been worth it.

Over the last year, I have gone from being a complete beginner to getting close to trialing!
I had to teach all the skills, both to me and my dog - obstacles, handling, ring/trial prep. Lots of agility words were totally new to me too. I didn't know what a threadle was, the difference between a "soft side" and "hard side" weave entry, nor what timing, commitment, and connection implied! I've felt super welcomed and supported through FX agility (which has been where I've learned the vast majority of my skills). I can now talk semi-intelligently about agility, and even better, can run short basic courses with a confident and happy dog!

Omg, reframing my mindset in how I think and talk about my dog has been invaluable.
I almost can't believe it was only 6 months ago that I was thinking about never trialing Barley again. I'm so happy to have established 2-way communication and trust that when he says he can handle something, he truly means it. And when he says he cannot, there is no value in forcing the issue. I'm sure he appreciates being heard and I love no longer having to guess who will show up on the start line because he is encouraged to be 100% honest in sharing his feelings. Here's to more "yes please" opt-ins in our future!

Education
Train with Excellence currently has over 600 lessons for you to learn about a wide variety of topics pertaining to dog agility. I am always working to add new content and update content already available.
